A Midwest native, Crandall began his editorial career at Whitehouse Post and grew through the ranks to become an editor in 2005.  Known for his knack for found footage storytelling and comedic timing, Crandall has collaborated with a range of agencies including McCann, BBH, McGarry Bowen, 360i, and CP+B for global brands such as Google, Getty, Verizon, Hanes, Smirnoff, and ESPN.  Crandall has cut music videos for the likes of Beck, Fall Out Boy and Feist, among others.  You probably remember his spoof music video “Tea Partay” for Smirnoff, which became a viral sensation winning awards at AICP, Cannes, and D&AD.


In addition to his commercial work, Crandall has edited numerous short films that have been featured in festivals across the world.  His short documentary Dimmer was a finalist at the 2006 Academy Awards.  When he isn’t editing, you’ll find Crandall barbecuing, woodworking, and pushing his daughter on the swings.
